Make sure to change the settings to watch this in 720 HD. Scuba diving and spear fishing on the wreck "City of Athens", about 20 miles off the coast of Cape May, New Jersey in 100 feet of water. The "City of Athens" went down on May 1, 1918 in a dense fog after being rammed by the French warship La Glorie, sending 65 souls to their graves. Today the wreck sits in 100-105 feet of water 20 miles out of Cape May, NJ. The wrecks four boilers and massive engine provide the wrecks highest relief. I was wearing my Liquid Image HD Wide angle camera during this dive. This is a true "Point of View" camera, so wherever I turn my head, the camera naturally follows. It can also be kind of dizzying, but it's still pretty cool. Using my JBL 38 special spear gun, I can be seen shooting an Atlantic Spade fish. I edited out other fish. We ended up getting over a dozen lobster from this wreck. Diving with my buddies, Jeremiah Hupka, Anthony C, Tony, Sean, and Kevin. We had a stow-away on the boat. A yellow finch joined us for the trip out and back. We caught him and held onto him until we returned to the dock.
