Henry Jager
Henry Jager is a passionate underwater and wildlife photographer with an incredible sense for an unexpected view on the subjects. His arts has been internationally awarded in many contests around the world either in underwater contests or at ones of general photography. The extended portfolio consists also of landscapes, animals in general and more.
Due to his outstanding portfolio, Henry Jager has been awarded Grand Master of underwaterphotography by the world’s largest and one of the most prestigious contest, www.underwaterphotography.com in February 2012. For this contest, he acts also as photo critic now. He's writing articles and performing presentations as well as exhibitions. He's offering underwater photography courses and workshops.
Henry Jager lives near Zurich, Switzerland. He's diving since 2002 and is taking underwater pictures seriously since 2007. His portfolio shows pictures from the region of Kasai Village on the Philippines, Raja Ampat, Maldives, Red Sea or Menorca at the Mediterranean Sea.
Henry Jager describes his passion as follows: “Our earth’s biodiversity is amazing. Especially underwater, you find the most crazy creatures as well as the cutest, most colorful and most impressive ones. My passion is to capture this fantastic underwater-world as well a the topside life and make the beauty of life available to everybody”.
