Description

Need a full set of gear for your youngster's next diving vacation? The JR. Scuba Package #1 is what you're looking for! The Zeagle Ranger JR gives parents the choice of a quality BC made specifically for children. Using the same rugged construction as the Ranger BC, the Ranger JR utilizes Zeagle's Personal Fit System to let you change out specific sections of the BC so it can grow right along with your child. The waist panel of the Ranger JR can be adjusted out to add several inches of growth room in the waist area. The shoulder section of the BC can be replaced with larger sections when the child starts inching up past the "knee high to a grasshopper" stage. These features combined with the same quality in material and construction means that the Ranger JR will last for many years saving you from having to buy a new BC after every growth spurt. The Ranger JR is made from the same heavily reinforced 1050-Denier Ballistic Nylon like its adult version for strength and durability. Accessory attachment is provided with 2-stainless steel (SS) angled D-rings on the shoulders and 2-SS D-rings on the vest. The Ranger JR has an adjustable elastic waist panel, torso adjustable shoulder and sternum straps. The waist, shoulder and sternum straps are all equipped with squeeze-style" side-release buckles for easy and quick donning and doffing. The Ranger JR back inflation BC provides 24 lbs. (10.9 kg) of lift and is equipped with Zeagle's Ripcord Weight System with a releasable weight capacity of 16 lbs. (7.26 kg) of block or soft weight. The BC comes equipped with Zeagle's Bx Power Inflator Mechanism. The Bx Power Inflator makes preventative maintenance easy with its threaded lower mechanism that allows the attachment of a garden hose for fast and easy inner bladder rinsing. The Bx is also connected to a pull dump valve for rapid deflation. Trimming buoyancy in any position is made easy with the additional lower rear over-pressure relief/pull dump valve with pull cord. The BCD weighs 5.6 lbs. (2.54kg), comes with a comprehensive owner's manual, low pressure quick disconnect hose with 3/8" threads. The Cressi MC9 Hyper-Balanced Diaphragm Actuated 1st stage regulator has a lightweight body covered by a protective techno-polymer elastomer shell. The regulator is equipped with four low pressure and two high pressure ports. Internally the 1st stage is coated with an anti-friction anti-corrosion material that reduces resistance and allows the critical components to move freely. This makes the components perform and last longer between annual servicing and increases performance. Internal air passages and incorporating a special assist chamber lowers the drop of intermediate pressure upon inhalation and keeps the drop at a minimum, for higher performance in any situation. Hyper-balancing allows for an increase of the intermediate pressure at maximum depths and at low pressure in the cylinder, offering higher performance at maximum depths and during the ascent phase of the dive. The all chrome plated marine brass first stage regulator is a balanced diaphragm design which transmits the pressure changes to the internal mechanism eliminating the need for the surrounding water to enter the intricate mechanism. The XS Compact Second-Stage primary and octopus housing are made of durable non-corrosive polymers, and have dependable downstream demand valve mechanisms. The flow of air is channeled creating a venturi effect enhancing the performance. The 2nd stage comes with a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, with dive/pre-dive adjustment function. Large soft purge cover allows easy clearing of 2'nd stage and a comfortable silicone mouthpiece. The XS Compact MC9 Regulator is lightweight weighing 28 oz. (790 g) w/o hose. The XS Compact Regulator comes with a long 3/8" hose. The Cressi Mini-Console 2 is a small compact console that houses the Cressi Mini-Manometer Pressure Gauge and a Small, Analog Depth Gauge. Both gauges are high quality instruments with chrome plated brass cases. The depth gauge is a diaphragm membrane actuated design. Both gauges have circular easy-to-read scales. The instruments are housed in a small, console boot, made from polycarbonate and Desmopan, (a thermoplastic polyurethane) two materials that protect from shocks, scratches and is very light. At the end of the console, there are two eyelets for fastening the instrument to the BCD/harness with a clip or lanyard The luminescent face of the 230' Depth Gauge, the first 40' of depth readings are in 10' increments, (for decompression stops), and are spaced for ease-of-reading. For monitoring of depth, the face is divided into 3-different colored zones: green up to 66', light blue from 66' to 130' and red from 130' to the end of the scale. The instrument has a maximum depth indicator needle that stops on the maximum depth reached during the dive. This function is extremely handy for logging of dives. The Mini-Manometer Pressure Gauge luminescent dial reads from 0 to 5000 psi. Like the depth gauge the instruments face is divided into three different colored zones. The area from 600 psi to 0 psi is highlighted in red with a solid bar and red stripes. If gauge is used on deeper dives, the red scale extends and fades to 1,300 psi. From 600 to approximately 3,000 psi is green and from 3,000 to end of scale is blue. The front glass lens is made to act as a pressure relief valve. In the event of a sudden increase in pressure inside the instrument, the glass rises slightly, allowing the excess pressure to escape. Pressure gauge is equipped with a 7/16" threaded high pressure hose. If you're a traveling diver having this mesh bag folded up and in your travel dive bag allows you to keep your expensive roller bag dry and ready for the trip home w/o exposing it to the elements and dive boat crews. When you're ready to rinse your gear after a day of diving, simply drop the entire bag in the rinse tank and hang up to dry. The breathe-thru mesh is ideal for dry, wet or dripping equipment. For easy storage simply insert the bag into the exterior pocket and zip shut. Bag is equipped with comfortable backpack straps. Bag is constructed from 600D Poly-Natural Fiber Blend with Polyurethane interior coating high-strength mesh, which is water and stain resistant material. Bag has a full length zippered dry pocket inside the bag for what you need to keep dry with #5YKK marine grade bronze zipper. Bag has an embroidered Akona handle for easy grip and cushioned fleece lined, padded shoulder straps w/sternum strap. Rustproof brass grommets, draw string top for easy excess, additional rip-stop exterior pocket with internal key clip, two-sided zipper and a luggage tag for when you travel. Bag measures 30" x14.5" (76.2 x 37 cm) with a volume of 4,952 cubic inches (81.15 liters).
