One of the many unique features of the Sevylor Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) is that a wave is not required to have fun! Paddle-Boarding allows one to paddle the open ocean, lakes, rivers, streams, or any large body of water. By standing up, this allows for better visibility. One can see deeper into the water as well as further along the surface of the water. As well, it provides a low-impact core workout which will positively affect your body specific to surfing with a SUP. Although inflatable, you'll almost swear the Samoa stand up paddleboard is a rigid composite or surfboard-like fiberglass. In fact, it is constructed of a high-tech drop-stitch material, which allows it to be inflated to 10-12 psi (0.69-0.83 bar) for extreme rigidity for great performance out on the water. If you don't have a lot of room for storage, this inflatable paddleboard is quick to inflate and deflate and is also great for travel with the included backpack so you can easily take it with you anywhere. Samoa has a high pressure spring valve for quick and easy inflation and deflation. Designed with a 4" (10.2 cm) raised tip (rocker) to prevent curling and improve performance. A large EVA foot pad on the board provides grip and comfort. Three Removable Polypropylene Fins are included with the board for consistent tracking. Stainless steel D-rings are conveniently placed for securing small cargo up to 10 lbs (4.54 kg). A convenient carry handle is positioned in the center of the board. Special high pressure pump and pressure gauge are included. The board and all of the accessories fit into the durable, dry backpack included for easy, lightweight transport. 1 Person Standup paddleboard has a maximum weight capacity of 250 lbs (113.4 kg), measures 120" x 10" x 30" (305 x 25.4 x 76.2 cm) and weighs 22.5 lbs (10.2 kg). The Samoa SUP also comes with Sevylor's Maui Stand-Up Paddleboard Paddle which is specially designed for SUP's. With an extra long shaft made of durable corrosion free carbon with nylon charged 9" (22.9 cm) ABS blade, with a length of 72" (183 cm). Paddle breaks down in 3 pieces for easy stowage.
