The Big Blue FF 3 x 5W Aluminum LED Diving Torch, nicknamed as the Flying-Fish beneath its unique styling, it delivers ultra-high light output while merging quality materials, long-lasting performance, and reliability to meet the needs of the most demanding divers under the most rugged diving situations. This FF-3x5W LED light is a compact and powerful LED Light. The 3 5W LED's provide 500 Lumens of light. The light has a Hi-Lo function that allows you to choose between 100% and 70% light outputs, thus extending the lights burn time. The light can be powered with 8 AA batteries both alkaline and Ni-MH will work. It has a burn time up to 12-hour. The light is constructed from anodized aluminum alloy which is corrosion resistant. The FF-3x5W Light with its lantern grip handle is a great primary dive light for restoring natural color in the marine environment, its bright 500 Lumens makes it perfect for night diving. The color temperature is 6500K with a beam angle of60° which produces a very even light beam. The light bulbs ultra compact single chip employs an energy efficient deign and guarantees a life span of 50,000 hours, reducing the need for frequent replacement of the bulb. The rotary magnetic switch makes it easy to switch from the Hi to Lo output settings, and it insulates all internal parts from the risk of flooding. The light is equipped with a thermal protection system, that prevents the light from overheating by cutting off the power in case of prolonged use on land or exposure to temperatures above 158°F (70°C). Once the light cools off, the power comes back on. There is also a safety lock that prevents the light from being accidentally switched on when in your gear bag.
