Panama might not be the first place you think of when you think of scuba diving, though truth told scuba diving in Panama is likely more exciting than you think.

Panama lies at the very southern point of Central America and is shared by both the Eastern Pacific and the Caribbean Sea, both of which hold some great scuba diving locations. Panama is of tropical climate with average dry-season day time temperatures raging from 26 to 30 degrees celcius, Panama is also known for it's high humidity which is to be expected with it's proximity to the equator.

Coiba Island is by far Panama's scuba diving hotspot, appearing much like a tropical paradise. Coiba Island has over 40 different dive sites including some real gems. And due to the fact that not very many people choose Panama as a scuba diving destination many of these sites remain in great condition. Whale sharks are prevalent at Coiba Island which allows for some incredible scuba diving experiences.
