Description:

The Bangor Galley was a small Merchant vessel that operated between Jamaica and Belize. She sank in 1719 on sandbore Caye, which recently submerged. The crew abandoned the ship and made a base camp at half moon caye. During this time, the Captain built a raft and finally made it back to belize city. There is not much left of this wreck, but it still makes a beautiful dive with abundance in corals and marine life.
