Description:
The Lady Elizabeth was a Three Masted Iron Hulled Vessel built in Sunderland in 1879. She was used to transport bricks and cement. In 1913 she ran into a severe storm which sned some of her crew members as well as cargo overboard. Despite the damage from the storm, she managed to make it to Stanley Harbor. As she approach the harbor, she struck Uranea Rock and ended up with a large hole in her hull. She sank on February 17, 1936, after breaking from her mooring to where she rests today. She surfaces completely. Beautiful dive.Submitted by: Rynaldo on 2009-04-14 | Views: 212 | Dive Site ID: 68026
