Description:

300 feet long steel hulled ship, sunk in collision with propeller Northern Queen in dense fog, November 25, 1908, off Port Sanilac, MI. No lives lost. Vessel was downbound from Duluth with mixed cargo of flour, wheat, and shingles at time of loss. Visibility on this wreck is usually poor. The wreck is split in two areas separated by some 40 feet, the gap by some called the 'leap of faith'.
