When people hear about Hawaii, they usually think about having a lot of fun. The Hawaiian Islands are indeed some of the most beautiful islands in the world, which makes them a great scuba diving destination too. The Hawaiian Islands include 132 islands but the most important ones when it comes to tourism and scuba diving are Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Lanai and Hawaii, also named the Big Island. These islands are some of the most isolated locations in the world therefore the creatures sheltered by Hawaiian waters are numerous and diverse. In plus, there are lots of species that cannot be found anywhere else in the world - 30% of the marine life is endemic to Hawaiian waters.
The Hawaiian Islands have warm waters with high temperatures that are great for both beginners and experienced divers. The warmest month is September and the visibility of the waters is one of the greatest, often ranging over 100 feet. Hawaii is a great place for scuba diving the entire year, though in winter you should wear 3mm suit for not being cold. This amazing location for scuba diving allows you to practice everything from shore diving to cave diving and boat diving. Hawaii is surely one of the top scuba diving destinations located in Pacific due to the diversity of the marine life and to the variety of things you can enjoy there.
