Description:

One of the most popular inland sites is Stoney Cove, which is an inland quarry in Stoney Stanton near Leicester. The temperature here is always cold (up to 63 F in summer), and some of its many attractions are the fish that can be seen here, including pike, roach, and crayfish. The deepest part is 120 feet, and there is a novice area of 22 feet. The center has many attractions, including two hydroboxes and many wrecks. Facilities include a shop, toilets, and a pub. This easy access scuba dive consists of a fresh water quarry where there are a number of foreign objects sunk, including helicopters, cars, planes and more. There are some lobsters which take refuge here as well as some fish. A very interesting dive
