Greece is a country rich is history and while in recent years the focus for many has shifted onto the arguably failing economic and social issues, the country remains an amazing destination for scuba diving, good visibility and plenty of dive sites.

Greece has a history for limiting scuba diving in certain areas due to the risk of damage and theft to some of the ancient sculptures and artefacts which now lie underwater in many parts. These restrictions have slowly become more relaxed though, and as of late scuba divers are able to enjoy in excess of 100 dive sites around the country.
