"Just wire it to my account in the Caymans..."
There is more to these Islands than off-shore financial services for bad guys who want to take over the world - like smoking hot scuba diving for one.
The Cayman Islands belonged to the Federation of the West Indies until 1962 and has since remained under British dependency. Its three islands: the Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, Little Cayman, lie in the Caribbean Sea, south of Cuba. The Islands are in actual fact the outcrops of what is known as the Cayman Trench, a ridge buried 8000ft underwater. This geographical fact contributes to some of the best wall and drop-off scuba diving in the world.
The Cayman's capitol is George Town where a large percentage of the three Islands' total population of 45,000 resides, of which half are of 'Caymanian' origin and the rest of African and European decent.
