Caribbean Scuba Diving

The region known as the Caribbean is in fact a collection of over 7,000 islands, islets, reefs and cayes which are located in and around the Caribbean Sea. Throughout the Caribbean there are some exceptional diving opportunities, with a good range of reefs, wrecks and drop offs to cater for the tastes of all scuba divers. The waters here are clear and warm, making diving in the Caribbean an enjoyable experience for divers of all levels.

There are a number of islands within the Caribbean which offer some exceptional scuba diving opportunities, most notably the British Virgin Islands, The Cayman Islands, Aruba, Antigua, Tobago, The Turks and Caicos and Cuba. With the level and range of diving that is available in the Caribbean, it is difficult to pin down the more 'exceptional' opportunities that undoubtedly exist. That said, visiting the Manta Rays and Humpback whales at the Turks Island Passage is a quite unique experience, as is seeing the multitudes of Stingrays at Stingray City in the Cayman Islands. Both of these would be considered worthy of a visit for any scuba diver.
