A part of the larger Kaafu Atoll, South Male Atoll was one of the first areas within the Maldives to open its doors to tourism, and today, this tourist industry is a well oiled machine that ensures a multitude of visitors throughout the year.
The majority of the dive sites on the South Male Atoll are situated near to the largest island, Guraidhoo, where a number of small wrecks and reefs provide some excellent diving in optimum conditions.
