Description:

This small island lying opposite the berjaya resort has a good hard coral diversity. Renggis fringing reefs are shallow making this a good place for a second dive. The usual dive plan is to enter the water at the easterly site and swim around the island at a depth range of 12-15m. The coral formation is mainly tabletop, stack horn, bommies, brain corals, cabbage and potato corals on the rather flat bottom. You could take a detour to the two Thai fishing wrecks which lay in 20m of waters if you prefer deeper dives, but mostly we cover the back part of the island in search for its resident Black tip sharks and green turtle. This dive spot is simply amazing for snorkelers.
