Description:

This dive site consists of the SS De Klerk wreck, a Dutch steamer which originally was involved in a damage incident in 1942 but then restored only to last a dismal 2 years and then was sunk in 1944 when she fell victim to a Japanese mine, tragically killing over 300 people. She lies at a moderate depth of 33 meters and lies on her side at a 45 degree angle offering some good penetration possibilities for experiences scuba divers. The wreck lies in an area rich in marine life and is a great scuba diving site with plenty to see.
