Description:
Manta reef is a known site for aggregations of Manta Rays. large numbers can be found here at certain times of the year. It is a long shoal reef mostly coral rubble on the bottom. Can be done as a drift dive or static dive on one of the cleaning stations. Avoid touching and over crowding the rays. Also feature thorny backed rays, numerous reef sharks, eagle rays and hump head parrot fish. National Park authorities are recommending that guest snorkel this site as it is less disturbing for the rays. best photo opportunities are snorkellingSubmitted by: gregory on 2009-04-29 | Views: 172 | Dive Site ID: 68791
