Description:
This rocky outcrop, situated about 4km northeast of Tapekong, is surrounded by a great reef. Half of the reef is cobbled slope and the other half is a wall, which is black, basaltic rock, with breaking waves above it. You can find entry points anywhere around the island and you can either cover the whole island in one dive, or you can cover just a small part (depending on the conditions, the current, and how much interest the various areas hold for you). The current can be strong downwards, as well as horizontally, and you should be aware that it can form a whirlpool under certain conditions.Submitted by: admin on 2008-08-22 | Views: 150 | Dive Site ID: 63758
