Come join us as we load up two houseboats (one 60' and one 50') for a weekend of diving on Bull Shoals Lake in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, near the White River. We've changed the dates to include the Columbus Day (Monday) holiday so we can do what???!!! Dive! Dive! Dive! Located just across the state line in Arkansas, Bull Shoals is a great place to dive. The water is clear and can range from 90-60 degrees at depth. If you're lucky, you might spy one of the rare blue catfish.

Scuba divers come to Bull Shoals from across the country to enjoy the clear blue water. This is a Corps of Engineers lake downriver from Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo in Missouri. Dive sites from 20'-85' include a variety of sunken boats, including a destroyer escort, and a troop transport, a bus, the "Iowa Farm" with a combine and tractor, and many other smaller boats and equipment. Wall dives can be made along one side of the lake. There are also several swim throughs from 30' to 80'

Your Columbus Day Weekend Houseboat trip includes:

• Roundtrip transportation to Bull Shoals Lake We’ll depart Y-kiki Divers Creve Coeur at 7 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8 arriving at the lake by early afternoon. • All meals, snacks & nonalcoholic beverages Prepare to be pampered! We'll have a dedicated cook and you'll want for nothing! (including dishes!) • 3 nights accommodations on the houseboats Single and double occupancy berths available. • An event t-shirt • Unlimited airfills We’ll dive Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday and cap the weekend off with a morning dive on Monday. • The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy course will be offered for only $20 -- a $100 value! Count this course toward one of the five Specialty certifications required for your Master Scuba Diver certification.

You'll need to bring:

• Your dive gear • Bedding (sleeping bag/sheets/pillows) • Towel(s) • Light jacket (for cool evenings) • Fishing gear (and a license, please) • BYOB (alcoholic) • Water toys … and don't forget the sunscreen and a hat! To ensure a great diving experience, we've limited this trip to only 12 spaces!
