Scuba Diving Locations 

Mexico diving boasts some spectacular snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities, especially in Cancun where a package trip will get you a dive along the second largest reef system in the world, which stretches from the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula though Cozumel and into Belize. The Cancun area also has vacation packages that include wreck, wall and cave dives, as well as shorter scuba diving trips along the reef.

Scuba diving in Europe for the most part isn't the same as tropical diving, where one has such a large amount of fish life. Most European dive sites have fairly low visibility and marine life isn't as varied, but this doesn't stop the activity of scuba diving and in fact Europe has a very large diving community in regards to the quality of dives. Though with that said there are definitely some interesting dive sites in Europe.

Shark cage diving is particularly popular in South Africa and Australia, with both countries offering packages that include all necessary safety equipment and scuba gear. As far as great white shark diving is concerned, a cage is always used for holiday divers, but there are free diving opportunities with other types of sharks, including hammerheads, tiger and ragged tooth sharks.

Fiji is an up and coming destination for scuba holiday diving packages, as the Koro Sea offers divers unique experiences, such as multi-coloured coral reefs and gardens, dog-toothed tuna, manta rays, cliffs, unicorn fish and a swim with a school of between 50 and 60 barracuda. In fact, Namena Island, which is rated as Fiji's best scuba diving destination, is also one of the top ten diving destinations in the world.
