When it comes to Honduras diving, there are several excellent sites to choose from. One of the most attractive is Utila. This is one of the three major Bay Islands in the country, and because it is close to the mainland it is highly accessible. There is not much available when it comes to transportation on the island, but this does not take away from the many excellent sights available underwater. In fact, if you can make it from mid-February through March, you have a very high chance of spotting some whale sharks as they are very common during this time of the year.
