Scuba diving is a rich a varied activity that extends far beyond looking at pretty fish under the water. Scuba diving is still evolving as people come up with new and improved methods, techniques and equipment, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a wealth of information out there.

Scuba diving can be broken down into two broad categories: professional or commercial diving and recreational diving, and each of these can be further broken down into sub-categories of their own, each with information about equipment and certification needed, as well as basic safety rules.
